Testing 123, Testing 123

Anytime I try to run a test from Lightburn my Z-axis raises all the way up to the Limit Switch and tries to run the test from there.
It did this on a Material Test today and a Focus Test yesterday.

If I turn the Z off in the software, will it take care of this issue or might it be something else?

The question is, “Why is Zaxis moving?”

Does it do this only when you power up the machine, or whenever you try to run a program (or LB test program)?

It does when I home it and that I expect. I am more concerned with the LB Tests, it makes no sense.

Do a material test with a 4x4 grid, any size, and save the Gcode. then attach (drag to Reply box) it as an .NC file (I think LB enabled this extension). if that not work, add .TXT to the end of the filename and drop it in the reply box.

No idea how your router differs, but I had to enable “relative Z moves” and “optimize Z moves” to get my Z axis to behave on my ikier.

I want to try a couple things today. I’ll do that if still having the issue.

I’ll look into this today. We will see if this is my solution.
Your information did the trick my friend!!!
