Text mask in cloud in to a image

hello,
I am experimenting with the fact that I would insert the text into the image that I would engrave so that it would be in a cloud, or the outer perimeter around the text and it would be as if I had pasted the text and there would be no image there. I’ve tried everything possible, but instead of the image and text remaining in the cloud, when I give the aplay mask to image command, the image disappears, instead of the text remaining in the bubble.
Please give me instructions.
Thank you and best regards

I am not sure of what you do and want to have.
I looked at Image Masking - LightBurn Software Documentation
I suppose that’s the operation you want to do?
What is the result you expect? As shown in the article, the image is cut out to fill the text? Or you want to cut out the text from the image? Or is this another issue?

hi i would like to do something like this

but it doesn’t work at all, instead of the cloud text remaining on a white background, the image recedes.

If @slavkopristavec solution doesn’t work for you…

For a good response, we really need to know more of what you are working with…

Can you post the two files? Or put both in a .lbrn2 project file.

this is a project and I would like to paste the text in the picture under the car so that it is in a cloud and stands out from the picture so that it is in a white cloud.

Are you looking for something like this?

Thanks, that’s what I wanted, but I couldn’t manage it. Kindly please guide me on how to do this myself, I am self-taught in this area and I appreciate any help.
greetings

Notice the green “frame” around the entire picture. This is the key. Basically, the mask works exactly like the layer fill. Closed shapes inside other closed shapes invert. Did you read the entire help document that Phillipe linked to the other day? The process is explained in there.

If you had trouble understanding it, I’m sure it would benefit everyone if you explained where you got lost so the document can be improved.
