The offset button box is not working correctly. Version 1.0.06. It is putting point on rounded parts of the design and rounding the square parts. In addition, it is so sloooow I can take a nap between setting direction, style and Offset distance. I took a picture right before I pressed OK and it did not during typing this message. When it did, the offset was gone.
That file is extremely noisy and has lots of interior shapes. The offset engine has to attempt to offset it all, because that’s what you told it to do, and merges it all together, which takes time.
The sharp corner is because you’re using ‘Corner’ mode, and there are likely some interior shapes that are sharp, and expanding outward. Change to bevel or round and it will likely behave better.
