Hello new to CNC and Laser I have a Shapeokeo 3 XXL with a J Tech 7 Watt laser attachment. Getting the following error when switching back to CNC There are unused, leftover G-code words that aren’t used by any command in the block.
On or near line 3:: any help would be great
Trying to understand this better.
- Are you saying these are things left over from LightBurn?
- What’s the impact of the situation? Is this impeding something?
- When does this occur?
- What’s your process for shifting from Laser to CNC mode?
- Can you take a screenshot of what you’re seeing and post here?
- Yes, it is left over from the Laser.
- It will not allow me to use the Laser or switch over to the CNC Router Shapeokeo 3 XXl.
- First time doing this, was using the laser had and issue stopped the program. to redesign a small feature went to run again received the message.
- The process for switching from Laser to CNC is a Macro on the console button with CNC and Laser.
Was your reply cut-off?
Without knowing specifically what’s showing up it will be impossible to even speculate what this might be.
Left over from the laser? As in the hardware? Or you’re saying it’s something that LightBurn is sending?
It sounded originally like this was only a problem at switchover to CNC router function. This is sounding more like an error condition if this is not allowing you to continue using Laser.
Is this a soft switch over or does this involve a power cycle? So you’re saying because of whatever has happened with the “leftover” you’re saying it’s impeding the ability to switch function? Or you can switch function but you’re unable to proceed with router use?
What happens if you power cycle? Does the situation persist or you can use either function, neither, or just one?
Really need to see the exact error please. Photo please if it’s on your Shapeokeo.
Does LightBurn show any message in Console when this occurs? If so, please take a screenshot of the message.
