how do I reduce the thickness of fonts, lines and graphics. they don’t come out clean.
I am using a Boss LS1630. Please help.
A picture of your results would be helpful. We can’t see what you see otherwise. Also post a screenshot of your Lightburn screen with the cuts/layers panel and laser panel visible.
Check your focus.
Check your power and speed.
Out of focus will blur the lines.
Too much power or too slow will cause smoldering burn instead of a clean ablation.
I increased the speed, converted it to curves in Corel then traced it again in Lightburn. That seems to have done it. Thank you for your help. This is a new machine for us. It is about 3 weeks old. We had a 30 watt Xenetech, and it worked a lot different. It used Corel for controlling the machine.
