Thin wood bows up

So I am having problems with 1/16" basswood sheets bowing up in the center. There is no way to clamp it down without interfering with the movement of the gantry, of course it bowing up also interferes. Seems impossible to use this material

How about a vacuum table.

Are you laying it flat on the spoilboard, or supporting it in some way like on risers or a honeycomb?

Flip it over

Strong magnets work wonders, and eventually I set up a steel frame made on send cut send that fits my bed and the brim is the size to give me the origin easy to position, plus the brim thickness (2mm) is my focus gauge.
