Time out for an old man

I’m crossing my fingers and hoping everything goes well. :crossed_fingers:

Yeah, been there, done that. Have to stretch every day or it will return with a vengeance.

I recently discovered two pills that had almost no effect on me alone (even naproxin and doclofinac are marginal), work a miracle when taken together. Take before bedtime and the next day symptoms are almost gone. I can go 2-3 days, or more before I repeat the dosage. Of course you should consult with a physician before changing any medication regimen.

  1. Advil (ibuprofin) 200mg = 1
  2. Tylenol (acetaminophen) 500mg = 2

These doses are within the suggested 4 hour dosage on the bottles.

REPEAT: Of course you should consult with a physician before changing any medication regimen.

As for the stereo heart zapper, I cannot help you there.

Please keep us updated!

This is, after all, good news I think!

I bet there are a lot of young people willing to trade places. But strictly this part, without going through the previous phase, obviously!
(I had to leave a little joke here… it’s stronger than me! Sorry)

I’m glad to see you’ve found a solution that (for now) seems to be solving the problem.
I remembered that my father solved a sciatica problem (according to him, he never suffered from it again) by leaning his back against a wall and remaining there on tiptoe for as long as he could stand it. To me, it seems like torture, and that’s why I’ve never done it.
I’ve also never consulted a doctor about what they think about such a method, whether it makes sense or not, whether it’s a reliable method or not.
What I do know is that it’s a suffering that’s not easy to overcome when it strikes. That’s why I brought up the subject (just another idea) because sometimes we’re willing to do things that, under normal conditions, we would never do. Like any other treatment, it’s obvious that it should be discussed with a doctor, because what is good for some can be very bad for others!

Keep us updated as much as possible.
I wish you all the best!!!

Thanks for you and everyone else’s input, I really appreciate.

When I had both my knees done with steel the surgeon gave me pain pills which I never used much until my body began its continued acceleration towards no end. Don’t remember the name of it but I take it with two Tylenol. Slow to act, at least two or three hours but it helps most everything and I absolutely refuse to become addicted to any of this crap so I only take a pain pill about twice per month.

One week til Pace Maker. I know it won’t cure everything but maybe it will give my heart a chance for a few more years.

I read everyone of the replies. Thanks to all of you for thinking of me.

God bless ya Ferg. Prayers for you.

Right on. I am VERY blessed to be as active and in as good a shape as I am at 87 .
Having a old, almost wore out mind, doesn’t help when trying to learn this. I often ask myself why, why at this age would anyone in their right mind think they could learn this. Ahhh there it is, Did you catch it? In their right mind… But it seems to be addictive even if I have to work on my hot patio. AHHHHHH !!! I don’t know how much heat my Falcon Pro can take, as well as my laptop.
