I’m trying to figure out how to add a black extension beyond my eagle image. I’ve got a outline of both the eagle and the full extension piece…but for the life of me I can’t figure out how to cut the outline portion from the extension portion so I can engrave the metal overage and then go back and do the eagle portion…effectively I’m trying to create a layered piece.

Hi,
I am trying to understand what you try to achieve
You have three items. You you try to have C behind A?
Something like this?
Just checking…
Regards
Ultimately I’m trying to get C behind A but only the region that cutting B out of C would have.
Trying to have an offset of A that is black so it’s easier to remove
Select C, then shift select B, click the bullseye. Then without clicking anything else go to Tools menu> Cut Shapes. Move the center to the side. Click the outline then shift select A and click the bullseye.
I would’ve sworn I had tried that variation as well…I think the fact that the C portion didn’t change and you don’t see the cut combo until you move C away must have threw me off.
Thanks so much for the help.
Don’t think that turned out like it was expected too. I’m uploading the file but in essence it looks like each of the boundary portions are somehow in a location other than depicted.

Update - I did a trial run and in spite of the frame laser splitting each up, they seem to be running in the order and location I’ve got set in the work area space…strange
