Using bounding boxes:
A closer fit using an online tool, with transfers set up by LightBurn:
Neither of those may be Good Enough for your purposes, particularly for large parts that must tightly fit in a relatively small chunk of material.
If you have a bunch of identical small parts, tinkering with the Grid Array tool may produce a nearly optimal packing.
I find a camera is invaluable for manually arranging a fewe random parts on a small piece of material left over from previous cutting sessions, but that requires careful calibration.
