Tone curve option in Ver 1.8 and later

Hi all

Has anyone an opinion on the Tone curve tool which is available from Ver 1.8 onward as opposed to using Gamma for Midtones in Ver 1.7.06 which I’m currently using.

Is the Tone curve more effective or simply more convenient.

I do not see anything called this in v2.0.04, which looks the same as it did in the 1.0.08 version.

I argued repeatedly there was no Tone-curve in LB and was the refrence to Gimp software, with a search engine and it said, from 1.8 onward in LB…And now my face is all Hot!
