I have updated my driver several times but continue to get this error message. I appear to be connected to my Xtool (shows connected bottom right corner), running Windows.
“there was a problem sending data to the laser. The machine may be busy or paused.”

I have checked the File List and it shows no files present. Appreciate any advice.

The driver shouldn’t be at cause here. If you’re updating Firmware that could present different symptoms.

Are you connected to the xTool D1 with a USB cable?
Is anything running that could be connected to the Laser?

XCS Creative Space, LaserGRBL or even another instance of LightBurn could be connecting to the xTool and preventing LightBurn from connecting.

Using USB cable to connect. I checked an Xtool Creative Space is not connect. Doesn’t appear another Lightburn is active. Any advice?

So I uninstalled both Lightburn and Xtool Creative Space but still same error message. Can’t figure out why this is the case.
