Hey Guys, I`m trying to burn a 3D image on wood. Every time I start it, it says Image failed and the machine was busy or paused and it was not. I have seen this before but it usually works on the next try. The laser will start but after it loads about 13 to 22% of the file the error comes up. It will for for about 1 minute and then stop because the whole file was not up loaded. Is there a problem with Lightburn or ME? Please help. Thanks
It would help to say what laser your using, the control board etc
Everything else will run fine. Its just this 1 file that is only 1.77mg. I have a Ruidi and a 80 watt China laser. I dont have any other issues with other files only this one. Even after starting computer and laser again it does the same thing over and over. Sometimes file will go to 22% and then stop and its gone all the way to 55% and then stopped. WTF is wrong?
Its a 3D file from Etsy. It runs great on my Glowforge but not on my 80 watt Laser.
You say the file is 1.77Mb, but I assume that’s the file before you put it into LightBurn, correct?
If you click ‘Save RD file’ and save it to your desktop, how big a file does that create? That’s the one that is being sent to the laser.
If you can attach the LightBurn project file (or email it to support@lightburnsoftware.com) so we can look at the content and the settings, that will help move this along.
