I have old license for version 1.4.03, i want to trial the new version to see if i want to bother renewing my license to make the upgrade. Is this possible?
You can install the trial version and keep version 1.4.03 simultaneously.
Depending on how you use Lightburn, I think youâll find the latest version much more appealing. If you search (I believe itâs in the forum documents) for the changes to tools and handling that have been made, you can test them, keeping in mind that some of them are done through key combinations.
The old license remains valid for the new version as long as you renew it. (pay for the renew)
If Iâm wrong, I ask that a moderator or developer please correct me.
You can use our free trial to give the new features a try, even if your license has expired for updates.
To do this, you will need to deactivate your license key, then the trial version should take over, allowing you to install the latest version. (You can always install your previous version and re-activate it.)
To deactivate, go to âHelp > Licence Managementâ then click the âDeactivate Licenseâ button. This will revert you back to a Trial ID, instead of your License Key.
It is likely that your trial has expired - you can extend your trial yourself by selecting âExtendâ in the License Management window you accessed previously.
In case your Trial-ID has expired, send it to us via support@lightburnsoftware.com. Weâll be happy to extend it for you.
