Another beginner question . . . I created just simple text in lightburn and tried exporting to a USB as a DXF file. However, when I try it in the laser it says there are no files? The machine came with RD works which I also tried creating something in and saving, but still no luck. Any ideas??? Thanks!!!
Don’t export to DXF, use this:
DXF is just vectors, and doesn’t contain speed or power information needed for the laser. You also have to use filenames that are old-school 8.3 DOS format (8 characters, no spaces or special punctuation) and save the files to the root of the USB drive.
