TTS55 Pro - I am a newbie here

So forgive my stupidity, but I am a newbie.
I have a new setup, and I started to use the Free LaserGRBL.
Then I decided to watch a ton of YouTube videos on Lightburn.
I love that it gives you more control but hate that at the same time.
When I launch LB and say I hit HOME, it goes from the current position and “chatters” all the way to the upper left. Not a fan of it chattering, but I found that’s because it thinks its in a spot where its not so its trying to move where it thinks its is, and when it gets to the tope left it sits there and chatters until it thinks it has reached its Home position and then stops. But then I hit Frame on a simple test burn and it goes way down to the right and it shows me a frame, but in the LB software I have the test pattern on the bottom left side…
So Confused.
How do I tell LB where I want it to start?
How do I set my start point, and where I have the test pattern?

You’ve viewed many videos, but you might missed this one:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HNNNsYMIrww&t=587s&pp=ygUQbGlnaHRidXJuIG9yaWdpbg%3D%3D

It sounds like you have the home and origin set wrong. Also- make sure you have not the correct dimensions of the workspace.
Lightburn material test menu.

Materials test after you get home/origin set up:

LightBurn is uninvolved in the homing process other than in making the initial request to home. This is handled exclusively by the controller on the laser and relies on other hardware, typically limit switches, to make this happen.

Is your machine equipped with limit switches that can be used for homing? If not, then your machine likely cannot be auto-homed.

If you cannot auto-home, you can manually home by moving the laser head slowly to the origin position (most likely bottom-left) before turning on the machine.

Check position of the laser by pushing “Get Position” in Move window after homing. It should read 0,0. If not, then there may be more work to be done.

Assuming that works, I suggest you work in Absolute Coords as the Start From mode in Laser window. This is the most intuitive in that where you place the design on the LightBurn workspace will correlate to the position on the laser.
