Hi Millmage community. I really need some advice. I have been using my Two Trees TTC-H40 with Millmage and have had issues with my CNC losing it’s xy positioning. It will not start the operation in the correct location, or start a cut, then move to the left/right by a few inches when doing the next pass. during an operation. I have tried doing the operations individually, moving the home position after each operation, even resetting the CNC and PC between operations.
If you could copy/paste the contents of your console when things go wrong into a reply back, that would help confirm whether or not the problem is mechanical or software related.

Thank you for your reply. I have checked the machine over and all seems to be working as designed. I also tried to slow the process down, but no luck. I just downloaded a new version of TwoTrees Bios and will install later this week.
Thank you for the reply, I have not been able to resolve the issue as of yet. I have download an updated bios for the machine and will install that. I am truly thinking I may have a heat issue. I live in a very hot climate and jobs will seem to run in the morning okay, maybe only once or twice, but as the heat goes up … jobs don’t seem to go as smoothly.
I would wait until everyone is convinced that is the issue. Flashing the controller should be the action of last resort. If it is the wrong version for the board or the upload does not go as planned, you open a whole new can of worms.
