Unable To Connect To Lightburn After Update To 1.7.04

My win 11 computer had issues connecting and now not at all. ai completely removed lightburn then completed a full install of the software. Now when i call up lightburn from the desktop icon the lightburn splash screen comes up then nothing else

I dragged out an old machine that I used and the version that was on that mache was 0.9xx and that opened fine. I opted to update it to the current version and now it wont open on that machine either. I am stuck with 3 lasers and cant use any of them.

My question is how can i go back to 1.6 on my wni 11 machine and if it can be done on the oler machine that never had 1.6 ever on it due to its age?

Thanks for any help, signed frustrated.

A recent Windows update changed some Windows Runtime components. You may need to restore the components in order to open LightBurn.

Please install the two files below and then try again.

Installed both and restarted pc (win 11), no change. splash screen comes up and it wont go any further, then it tells me that lightburn not responding. I had hopes that download would work but is my third day trying to repair this. Thats why i pulled out the old machine to see if i could run the lasers off that old macine, win8 upgraded to win 10.

Thanks for the update! Please try the solution from the forum post and report back:

When I did the redist_x64 update. I had to reinstall Lightburn.
