Unable to get started

I am new with laser engraving. I purchased a Kentoktool LaserPro400 engraver and installed Lightburn on my MacBook (Monterey version). The laser is communicating with my software, but all I get are Alarm statuses (Alarm 8, Alarm 9, Alarm 1, etc.). I have been in contact with Kentoktool and have tried a number of their fixes including $5=0, switching out the X and Y limit switches, importing a new set-up they sent. All with no response. The machine will not home, it vibrates and stays where it is. Does anyone have anything I can try? I have no knowledge base to go on and am located in the Sandpoint, Idaho area.

Can you set the configuration back to what it originally was?

I.E. did you make a backup of the settings…?

I did not make a back-up, so I do not think I can go back to the original settings…nice thought though if I could make that happen.
