Unable to import into Lightburn 2.0.02

Hi,

I am unable to import into the new version of version of Lightburn 2.0.02.

I have downloaded a PDF from outerzone but import into Lightburn is not possible – why is that and when will this be fixed?

More than likely, the PDF file is not vector. A lot of model aircraft plans in PDF files are raster.

I you open the PDF and zoom in - if elements/objects get more blurry and pixelated you’ll know they are bitmaps not vectors.

If there are vectors that do not import, please email the PDF file to support@lightburnsoftware.com, with a link back to this post and we can investigate.

They don’t go blurry - it appears to be Vector.
The point is that I can’t import ANY PDF since the update to 2.0.02

Upload the PDF file hete.

Please explain what is meant by “hete”

Upload the PDF file here

Sorry, can’t upload to the forum because PDF is not an allowed format

add .TXT to the end of the filename

Please email your file to support@lightburnsoftware.com if you haven’t already.

Outerzone is plane plans, if I’m not mistaken, and many of those are just giant images of plans that were scanned and converted to PDF.

Edit: I’ve found the email you submitted, and the file is indeed just a giant image. The new framework version we’re building 2.0 with apparently added a “maximum image size” setting, and defaulted it helpfully to 256mb. This file is just over that, so I’ve set LightBurn to clear that maximum size so it will load in the next patch release.
