Unable to invert

I have enjoyed all my new ugly words I can hang with this

For some reason when I try to invert the image all it does is change the colors but still wants to cut the background and not the words or images

And this is on all of my lbrn2 files.

All.of the happened after some other issues and was told to delete the prefs files.

Also when it does burn it is real light. I will post picture of what it was before all the fubar. Top one is dark as it gets now. Bottom is what i]t was doing. Thanks

and how light it is now

It would help most of us if you could post the .lbrn2 file. That way we can look at it and ask you more direct questions.

What invert does, in it’s simplest explanation is to invert when the machine lases.

Using preview is great, however the inversion is set on the layer and inverted here flips it back so as an artist you can see it inverted. If you’re engraving something dark, you may want to invert the output so it shows as whiter against a darker background.

I don’t know well enough what you’re doing to help you much further.

What are you lasing?

Do you need it legible or mirrored, like it is. If it’s the hole, then select the two parts.

Apply a boolean operation to combine… Using ^B brings up the boolean menu. Lets you see results before you select.

I tried to find a question in your thread, but can’t really identify one.

Let us know what you’re trying to solve and remember we know nothing about what you’re doing.

You might just need to mirror it…

Set the outer circle and inner circle to a different layer set for cutting. The rest will then engrave properly.

This is supposed to be a clock face. The Roman numerals words and square and compass are what’s supposed to print. What is sad until it went ape Wednesday and I fought like crap to find the issue which included as someone somewhere told me to do I removed the prefs file.

All of this to find that the NEJE Master 2s was trying to connect by bluetooth which was causing all the problems of stopping after 2 minutes in to burn.

And now everyone of my lightburn files are messed up just like that one

So now it is a royal cluster well you know the rest

Thank you sir that was was what I needed. Now to go to NEJE see if they can help figure out why it is no longer printing as dark as it should

Again thank you
