Unable to see preview when mode is set to line. Any sugestions?

I am unable to preview when the mode is in line.

Roll the mouse button back and forth, to check to see if your zoom level has you looking at the wrong part of the work area?

Do you have CUT SELECTED OBJECTS turned on? If no, I suggest you try that, too.
