Once the tracing is complete, I’m having to:
- Hide/turn off the image view
- Ungroup the trace
- Select the Edit node function
- Select the ungrouped trace
- Then turn the image back on before I can see where I may need to massage the nodes
Once the tracing is complete, I’m having to:
Move your image to a different layer. Blue lines over black image works for my eyes.
You may need to move the image layer down the cut order (or up the cut order) to have the trace object show over the image.
Image is on different layer
Different color is being used.
Tried locking and unlocking on image as well.
Move the image layer in the cut order. Up or down as needed.
Post a screenshot for best response to your problems. My crystal ball is broken.
I’ll try that when I get back to the shop tomorrow.
But having it locked at one point and it not working seems it shouldn’t matter where it is in the layer list.
We’ll see.
Thnx
That’s not my issue. Please re-read the post.
I can see my trace. How else would I be able to select it? My experience is that it must be visible.
Otherwise, if it’s selectable while being hidden, well that’s a whole other issue.
I’ll look into it tomorrow evening. Out of town for now.
I fail to see where and why you are having trouble. What exactly do you want to do differently?
Aha! Got it. You want to turn the trace layer to FILL rather than line. That makes it so much easier to see the boundaries.
Corrupted file. Works as normal on newly created file.
No crystal ball needed.
