Can I uninstall and reinstall the trial version of Lightburn? I have several days left on the trial and I’m having some issues with delays in the commands I use.
What’s your goal in doing so? This rarely resolves issues and can be counterproductive.
When I try to do any of the functions in the design screen, there’s around a second delay between the time I click on a command and the time it actually does it. In other words, if I click on the rectangle tool and start to make the rectangle, it takes a second or so for it to actually show up on the screen. This happens with everything I try to do.
Did this occur when you first installed the application?
What version are you running? When was the last time that you rebooted your computer?
Thanks for responding. It only happened earlier today, and I rebooted my laptop shortly after the problem started. I’m running Windows 11. Rebooting didn’t make any difference.
But now it’s working fine. I don’t know what I did or if it just self corrected, but right now it’s working okay. None of my other apps had this problem, just Lightburn. I’m just concerned that it may happen again after I actually buy it.
What you were describing is definitely not a common problem so likely either something specific to your system or possibly something temporary going on. I don’t think I’ve heard of anyone else describing an issue quite the same way.
In any case, glad you’re back to a working state.
