Ah, I thought you had figured something out to get it to print from SVG Edit directly. Saving from SVG Edit, bringing into AI and printing from AI worked for me but not printing/UCP directly from SVG Edit.
There is some type of problem with the web based print function. It just does a screen grab of SVG Edit. I have seen the web based print function have problems with other web based graphic programs

@RalphU have you tried going into the Editor Preferences and setting the background to transparent/none? I know when I tried printing directly to UCP I did not have this enabled. I won’t have access to the machine/setup until Monday but just noticed this.
BTW, I agree that the UI is not intuitive since it has few menus active and relies on certain operations to be set before the features are enabled. Like alignments don’t show until you drag and select an item or two.
I can look at it later tonight. Away from my computer.

It didn’t change anything in regards to direct control P printing when I set the background to transparent. But, I can get it to print thru Illustrator by ungrouping, and making sure the stroke width is 0.001 for cut or score
