Update 2.1.02 Scrambled my settings

After updating to 2.1.02 last week (June 6) my speed and power settings were changed on all my project files. I have tried File→Preferences→Load Pref Backup as suggested but that doesn’t reset the settings. How can I restore my previous project settings?

The settings weren’t changed - the speed settings are likely displaying in different units, but that’s easily fixed by following the link Parsec posted above.

Not here they didn’t. I tried the solution you referenced PLUS another on Preferences but I still get this nonsense:

For the record I NEVER USE a speed of 7.9 or Power of 55% on my OmTech Polar. Color me ‘baffled’

I’m guessing you do use 200 mm/sec though, which is exactly the same speed as the 7.874 inches/sec you’re showing there on the screen shot. The units are different, but the speed is the same (like 80km/h = 50mph)

In Edit > Device Settings, turn OFF this “Link” switch so it doesn’t switch to showing your speeds in inches when you change the toggle on the toolbar to design in inches:
