I just updated Lightburn and now my speeds and power setting dont function like they did. before 200 speed at 85% would cut 3mm. Now even 17 at 90 will not cut in one pass. Any Ideas why?

Check if all units are the same (especially mm/min vs. mm/s). Additionally, check if the firmware settings are still ok. LightBurn seems to change arbitrary firmware settings now and then. Recommended settings are listed here: Setting up the software - Diode Laser Wiki
It’s worth remembering “200” is not a speed - The first thing I have people check when something like this happens is that the units weren’t changed by accident.
300 mm/sec = 5 mm/min
300 mm/sec = 12 inches/sec
300 mm/min = 12 inches/min
So if you changed from mm/sec to inches/sec, or just changed from mm/min to inches/min, either of those would change how fast the machine goes when you enter “a number” without noticing the units.
