Updated Mac OSX to Big Sur - no connection

I just updated my Mac to Big Sur, and poof. Lightburn won’t connect to my MINI GRBL board. Can anyone help?? I have a list of jobs to do and can’t do any of them

So this one sorted its self out - must have just been waiting to download the driver. I now have an issue of power. Yesterday I was cutting 3mm ply at 20% power, 10mm/s 1 pass. I have just tried to cut 35%, 8mm, and it took 4 passes to almost get though.

I played around with some Grbl Settings yesterday sorting absolute coordinates out. Could I have changed something by accident?

Are you using this setup for a CNC with a laser added? You can set up macro buttons in LightBurn and call them say, “Use Laser”, and “Use CNC” to flip back and forth between appropriate settings required.

Here is what you will need for LightBurn. Common GRBL/GCode Setups - LightBurn Software Documentation

These are a bit odd. Normally $30=1000 (though the number doesn’t matter much as long as you also set the S-Value max in the Device Settings to match it).

And $31 is normally set to 0.

Thanks for the replies - I’m using it with a k40. I’ll try the suggested settings
