I am using LightBurn 1.7.08 right now. going to upgrade to LightBurn 2.0
when I do the update will all my files, templates and art files automatically
transfer over to the newer version of lightburn? or do I have to transfer them over manually?
As a rule, you should not notice any changes to your settings and preferences, i.e. LightBurn “reuses” the old settings automatically. However, it is always a good practice to make a copy of the settings. Use the export bundle function, then you have everything in one place. After the update, it is also a good idea to quickly check whether the measurement units are the same as before, this is where some users have experienced that mm/s stands for mm/min or in for mm. I personally have never experienced problems of this kind.
how do I get a copy of the settings? what about the art files and settings, how can back them up?
