Updating to V2.1 changed inches to mm

Which setting do I check to verify that the V2.1 update is reading/outputting in inches instead of mm. The main menu shows inches, but when I send a file with 40 speed/60 power to my Nova 35/100, the Ruida controller displays the file with 1016/60 and I can tell that the speed and power are different. I just am not sure what to check to verify its reading or outputting in inches.

Thank you

In the “Settings” menu/ “Units and Grids” tab, I verified the “Design Units” are set to “Inches”. I just need to know what else to check. I’ve been working in Inches in Ligntburn for the past 5 years. This update has changed something.

Thank you for any help

Also in the Wrench Icon at the top of the Main menu, which is “Device Settings/Dimensions and Units” tab, I verified the “Control Units” are set to “In/Sec” and that the “Link Control and Design Units” switch is set to ON.

Hi Mark! We have some documentation about the changes to how the units system works here: What's New in LightBurn 2.1 - LightBurn User Guide

By default, Control Units and Design Units are linked, so switching between millimeters and inches for either one will switch both. To unlink the two types of units, turn off the Link Control and Design Units toggle. To relink them, enable the toggle.

Hi Colin and Thank you so much for your help. Even though I, like many others at times, have issues with updates, etc, I have nothing but praise for Lightburn and those who developed and keep updating with new features. With your help I believe I know where my issues were with the 2.1 update yesterday. Instead of “in/sec” in Control Unit, I should have been on mm/sec. I believe the update changed it to in/sec, which was why when I started using 2.1, I wasn’t seeing the expected speed number like I had been. Anyway, I think its all straightened out and again Thank You for the help and quick response.
