Upgrade from 1.7.08 to 2.0.05

I have a Fox Alien 40W laser and use Lightburn. Last time I updated the software, I had eratic results (Its been a while and I backed out). I don’t remember what the issue was, but it didn’t work as I was hoping.

I would like to update my software. Is there anything I need to do pre-update or post-update? I’m just thinking maybe I didn’t do some steps.

Also, any learnings from the update?

Sometimes things don’t update properly. Export a user bundle before the upgrade, then import it to the new, just to be sure.
