Using Scan Angle Increment to create interresting textures in fills

A recent update made it possible to set the Scan Angle Increment to odd numbers! Before, it was locked to 45, 90, 180 degrees.

This is 10x10mm on brass, Angle Increment: 23.1 degrees and a rather large Line Interval.

These are not the exact settings I used, but I recommend trying out different combinations the highlighted settings.

It works well on intricate shapes too and creates a more organic look compared to the checkered pattern.
If you have multiple shapes, try if you prefer to “Fill all shapes at once” or individually.

You can also do it with a diode laser.
