I emailed and asked about obtaining a copy of the WeCreate Lumus Ultra for Lightroom beta, but haven’t heard back. I find the WeCreate software somewhat lacking compared to Lightburn. Yesterday I had a customer that wanted a simple tag. the job should have been no more than 5 minutes. It took me close to 30 minutes just to get the thing setup, and the actual print only took about 20 seconds. I probably should have used my ComMarker and Lightburn.
WeCreat Lumos Ultra — controller status report never leaves Idle, streams desynchronise on long jobs
LightBurn 2.2 RC4 and later support a way to upload a job to the machine with the HTTP protocol, so you can send a job and start it with the button on the device, like you would with their software.
You need to create a custom gcode device profile using their custom gcode commands (if you can’t get one from wecreat email support@lightburnsoftware.com, we have one that we did manage to do some UV engravings with). You choose the “WeCreat HTTP” flavor in Device Settings->Custom Gcode.
Then you can use the Send button - if your device is connected via USB.
Now, there are known bugs that remain, and we are still actively working to resolve them in dialog with WeCreat, but for now consider the support for the WeCreat Lumos device family to be experimental. It has taken much longer to resolve some of the problems around the new firmware than anticipated.
We hope to be able to make quick progress shortly, but 2.2 will only have partial support for the Lumos Ultra at best.
