Hi all I’m getting a funny artifact when rotary marking. Can anyone help out?
Cheers

Have you changed the image to an SVG object? If the white in an image is not pure, pure white, you will see the dithering.
As far as the vertical line, I am a diod guy. Sorry can’t help with setting on the fibers
I would also ask if it is vector art or an image. Have you tried it again to see if it comes out in the same place? I assume it is not visible in preview but have to ask. Chuck rotary, correct?
A couple things I see that are probably not the issue but raise questions, it looks like your rotary is way off center and you are correcting with output center. A better practice would be to get your rotary as close to centering under the lens as possible. It looks like your image is mirrored on the screen but correct on the workpiece. I’m curious about that. I also see your split is very small and your overlap is twice your split. That will really slow production down. I would suggest wrapping the workpiece in black painters tape and try a few passes play around with the settings might get some insights into the cause.
Thanks for the help guys I worked it out on the 2nd picture I’d left a line in play….. dumbass. Yeah my setup is a mess at the moment. I’ve had to move to lightburn and I’m teaching myself light burn and lasering at the same time
Cheers
