Ever since I downloaded the current version of Lightburn I am unable to get a job properly cut or engraved. If I send a job to Lightburn to do, I can no longer start it from the controller, and if I start it from my laptop it has random lines to the cuts that are not there. I cannot get anything to cut right. I don’t know if it makes a difference, but I have a MacBook.
Are you connected to the laser via USB or ethernet or have you purchased a Lightburn Bridge device? Mac communicating with the Ruida controllers have some know issues which appeared with LB v1.0 and I’m not sure if they have been resolved completely. I do know these issues were what drove Lightburn to spend time and effort developing the Bridge device after releasing v1.0.
