I am using a metaquip MQ1590 laser cutter connected to a pc with lighburn software. I would like to draw my designs at home in the same software. Which software license do I need?

Looking up that name / system, it looks like a Ruida motion control system, but you should confirm this. If correct, this would require the DSP version here: LightBurn Software - DSP License Key

I used the trial and I was able to draw my files at home and use them in the laser’s lightburn software. For me, it’s mainly about making the designs and then loading these files. Do I really need the most expensive version?
You need a version that can generate files which support your laser system. If you share a picture of the control panel on your laser system, we can confirm the required version.
