Hello everyone,
I am a LightBurn user from China. I have a problem with my laser engraver.
Sometimes when I start a job, the laser does not follow the path I set at all. Instead, it fires randomly.
It engraves random patterns on leaves, wood, or any other material, not along the lines I designed.
When it goes wrong, it looks like it’s engraving some regular, repeated lines randomly.
Every time this happens, I’m worried about damaging my materials, so I pause and stop immediately . That’s why I don’t have photos.
Does anyone know what causes this? Thank you so much for your help!

Post a picture of your preview screen and a picture of your error results.
Then we can start to help.

Perhaps a licensing problem:
Found this in a fb forum:
…User states that cutting squares is great but round objects come out crooked.
After about an hour of many people offering suggestions, the person admits they are using a pirated version of lightburn.
Another user mentions they see this problem all the time with the pirated LB version.
I just think if u have a laser, and are concerned about the price for the lightburn license, you either have no idea what ur doing… or just hate life and want problems.
/Gotta give c…
If that’s the case, uninstall whatever LightBurn you’re now running, download a genuine version , feed in your license key, and everything should start behaving properly.
You should also run a good malware scan, because there’s no telling where that other program has been or what it’s up to.
