When I am lasering out a word or sentence, some of the letters are good but some in the middle or end go smaller and move up. They don’t stay constant. Do I need to reset the whole machine?
Is the text saved as text? has it been saved as vectors or rasters?
Is the error random or does it just affect certain letters?
Can you attach a photo of the engraved text?
Not sure when you mean saved text as vectors or rasters?
here is what the lettering does when I go to print.
You have the option to change the text to a path (vector) or a bitmap (raster).
I am looking at the photos you uploaded… Did you run both with the same file without editing?
Would you mind uploading the Lightburn file so I can have a look at it?
Yes, same file. I did hundreds of letterings for coasters during the Holidays for people and it never did anything like this. I moved my office from upstairs to downstairs, plugged in my printer and this is what is happening.
Let me know if this is the file you are looking for.
dry hump.lbrn2 (279.6 KB)
I am assuming then that you sent this to the laser before you moved?
Try deleting the file off of your laser and sending it again and see if that fixes it.
The file looks fine when I open it so it may just be the file became corrupt on the laser.
I’m pretty sure it’s a mechanical issue. Check all belts, wheels and (grub) screws.
