Im wondering when we can expect the camera alignment debacle to be sorted out.
I dont want to miss this upgrade which must be on the agenda at the very least.
It is a vital feature for me and is preventing me from buying but if I know I will qualify in time I can move to purchase now.
So many are battling and giving up on it and I don’t see much acknowledgement of the main issue by devs .
What debacle are you referring to?
In what way is it unstable today?
How are you using the software without a license?

I read from the many unsolved camera issues on this forum.
Is there any sign of the rewrite refereed to in posts here by users answers from devs ?
I dont have those posts on hand but all in camera section, most posts with more than 10 repilies get unresolved issues.
It’s difficult making accurate inferences about how well something in LightBurn functions based on a random sampling of forum posts.
Far better to focus on specific trouble scenarios. Outside of certain situations where certain cameras have incompatibility with LightBurn and simply don’t function at all I’m not aware of any systematic issue with camera functionality.
The fact is that camera function in LightBurn is one of the most technical and potentially abstract concepts in terms of setup. It’s not obvious how the process works and it can certainly be a challenge getting it done correctly.
There’s little value speculating on this and if you believe somehow this will eliminate any confusion about how it works and forum posts, including those that are left unsolved then I suspect you’ll be in for more surprises.
If you have a specific issue you’re experiencing, provide details.
Thank you for your honest evaluation , I will keep a watch out . I work in aspire for most things , inkscape ,lasergrbl and a few other things .
Lightburn has great potential and as it evolves and matures you will get many more sales . Please dont do the photoship thing …I beg you.

I have been here for just over 1 year 2017???
I know that there is an improved version in the works ,that was the reason for asking the question.
If I know I will catch this new version by buying it now then please advise if this is likely in the next 12 months. Thats it …simple question…no need to make assumptions and infer the user is to blame .

I have friends who i try to help with cnc issues and laser issues who use lightburn but are less concerned about the camera setup which we all agree has some problems . Like any software it will grow into something better with more features and a better camera setup and hopefully not payware based .
