Why did my print shift?

The piece did not move, but the top part of my design shifted?

This looks like it lost steps, but more likely the pulley/grub screw is walking out…

I’d look at the mechanical first… specially if you can hold the shaft and move the pulley…

They can be pressed in or use a grub screw to secure it…

If it missed steps, that can cause it, but if you’re using the standard setting that came with your machine I doubt it… also when that happens it keeps loosing steps and the whole design lines shift…

I’d venture on it being a mechanical issue.

Thanks for your reply. I did a test with another board and it was fine, just need to babysit these lasers :slight_smile:

Something is different in the configuration… There should be no difference in controllers…

Do both have the same controller settings?

Hi, thanks for your reply. I finally had time to laser again and it is speeding fast which is causing it to skip but I don’t know why?
Is is possible to upload a video?
