Somedays everything cuts exactly the way it’s supposed to. But, more often than not… Lets just say I have a row of names I’m cutting out inevitably one if not more will be messed up? Grrrrr!
Thanks in advance!

messed up doesnt really say what the probem is… I dont have cuts messed up unless I set the wrong origin or so… so what exactly has been messed up?
The design cut is off. For example: A portion of a word will be cut or engraved properly, then other portions will be completely off. What do you mean by setting the origin? (I may ask stupid questions, I’m new) so just give me stupid answers LOL.
Can you show a picture of what you mean? It sounds like the laser head might be losing position while running the job, causing one of the cutting layers to misalign.
It’s also possible that the file data is getting corrupted while being sent to the machine, or that something about the file or the way it’s being run is causing the machine to slip, but we’d need more information to figure out which of these is most likely.
How are you connected to the laser? (USB, I assume?)
Do you send files to the machine and then run them from there, or just press ‘Start’ in LightBurn?
If you Send to the machine, do you delete the files relatively often? (if you don’t, this can cause odd behavior)
I actually believe @Enno told me exactly how to fix it! I am freaking elated!!! I’ve been dealing with this since I bought the machine! I have cut 4 projects and haven’t had an issue! Fingers crossed that’s what fixed it!
It’s grim when things don’t work correctly but boy when they do it’s like the gospel choir singing with beams of light and joy!!! I’m hoping for this tomorrow, it’s been a serious struggle with orders waiting to be fulfilled.
