Why is FILL in the correct position on the laptop, but it moves when sent to the laser?

I have a Thunder Nova 24 and am noticing that when I mark something to FILL it seems to be shifting out of place as soon as I send it to the laser. I have the FILL item centered on the piece I am going to cut, but it keeps engraving to the left of where I need it to be. I am not NEW to the laser, but I have had very few issues I can’t figure out, but I have no clue what to even check on this one. To complete the order for my customer, I wound up moving the FILL number to the right instead of center and when it finished on the laser it was in an ok position. But we are going into heavy engraving season and I need to be accurate and not guessing. When I send the file to the laser, it is correct on the laptop, but when I preview the file on the laser controller side, it is clearly moved to the left. Help? Again, not sure where to start asking or looking for a solution. Thanks.

Is the LightBurn Preview correct? This is critical, because it shows what LightBurn will send to the controller, which may be different than the design in the LightBurn workspace.

If the LightBurn Preview is correct, but the controller’s display shows something different, then the file is being corrupted between the PC and Ruida controller, which is unfortunately typical of a USB connection.

If the design isn’t confidential (or if you can create a simple failing testcase), upload the lbrn2 file so the hive mind can take a look. Screenshots (not a cellphone picture, please) of the LightBurn workspace and Preview windows, plus a photo of the result burned into cardboard on the platform will help us see what you see.

There are other possibilities, but we need more information to sort through them.
