Why my text automatically splits in half

When I enter a text and frame it on my tumbler it shows it perfectly, but when I run the job it splits the text and engraves the bottom half of the text and rotates the tumbler the engraves the top half of the text.
What am I setting up wrong?

What does the preview look like? Are the words grouped together? Can you post the file?

I just typed my name in the workspace and applied the material settings and framed it. The framing shows correct but when I run it on my galvo uv it runs the bottom half of the name and the “chuck” rotates the tumbler and engraves the top half of my name.

When you run the preview how does it look?

Can you post the file or screenshots of the settings?

Hard to tell because you haven’t posted any details except the problem. Settings, screen shots, file, etc

Sounds like the mm per rotation is not set correctly in Lightburn. Here’s how i do my tumblers. Look at the file below. Its a Word Document so download and change the extension from .txt to .docx

This is for my diode laser but the process should be the same for other type of machines

HOW TO CUT MUGS WITH YOUR ROTARY CHUCK - .txt (405.4 KB)

The preview looks perfect actually

You maybe have the axis wrong, judging from your text direction and description. Try y Axis.

Reduce the split size to 0.02 overlap 0.0

Thank you I will give that a try

Also, your interval (LI) seems really large. Should be 0.0XXX or 0.00XX But that wouldn’t cause your issue.

Another thing. Check the scan angle. The preview looks to be 45 deg

The issue ended up being my split was too large and I needed to be on the Y axis. Thank you everyone for your help!
