Windows 11 Version 24Hs will not allow Lightburn

Hello, I recently purchased a WeCreat 40W Vision. It came with the WeCreat MakeIt and Lightburn software. On my older HP Laptop with Windows 10, I could download the Lightburn software. I purchased a new HP laptop to solely run this laser and programs. Everything else downloaded, but it states Lightburn is not allowed. Can you please help me to figure out what is going on with your software. The HP Laptop is a Windows 11 Version 24H2, 13th Generation Intel Core, i7-1355U.

Please help.

Hi, check the firewall on windows 11 and give permission for lightburn, that will solve your problem.

See if your windows 11 is in “s” mode. If it is you can disable it and install like normal. If the firewall is not the culprit.

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select System
  3. Select About
  4. Scroll down to the Windows Specifications section
  5. If you see “in S mode” to the right of the Edition entry, your PC is using S mode
