Hey all, I’m a ruida guy, but I have a friend across the country who has a new K40 showing up Wednesday. I have a mini gerbil from Awesome.tech that I never used, so I mailed it to him. I ended up putting a ruida controller in the few K-40, machines I’ve rehabbed, because I knew I could troubleshoot it via teamviewer, so the Gerbils I ordered, went unused.
I’d love to be able to send him a file for it, so that even if it does not work directly, we’d at least have the bulk of the work done. I’m going to be walking him through this remotely, so If anyone would be so kind as to share their config, I would be forever in your debt. I’m sure I can figure out how to set it up, as GRBL is relatively straight forward, but it would be awesome to just drop the file on the board, and get to the pre-flight check, rather than listening for slamming end stops, and buzzing steppers on the phone. lol
