Was wondering if I could minimize light burn while the job is running and use the computer to start designing another job
As long as LightBurn is running you’re fine. You can even modify the design in place in LightBurn as what’s sent to the laser is already determined at that point. I’ve never tried it but I suspect you could even create a new document in the running instance and have it still work. Not absolutely sure about that though.
Sounds like you’re trying to do a design outside of LightBurn which would no problem.
You can also open a separate instance of LightBurn if you want to design there.
