X and Y axis issue

Hi, I just finally got my omtech laser set up today. I opened up Lightburn and placed a simple wood square on the honeycomb. I did a simple Circle on Lightburn and set it in the back left corner. However, when it burns, it is about 4 inches in front of the piece of wood. In other words, it’s not recognizing the rear 4 inches of the burnable area.

I’m confused as to what to do.

What Start From mode are you using in Laser window? If you are not using Absolute Coords can you switch to that and see if the problem persists?

Is there a link on how to do absolute coordinates?

Following - We have just set up our VEVOR 50W CO2 Laser Engraver and not sure where or how to set up X and Y axis either.

I am using absolute coordinates. but I ended up having to move the entire honeycomb since 0’0 on the lightburn grid doesn’t match up to where the laser is. Does that make sense?

We are having the same issue. 0.0 on the laser is not 0.0 on the bed??? we dont know how to set it up properly.
