As I continue to tune the system, I’m back to trying to figure out why the X-axis is binding starting abou 2/3rd s across from zero. I cleaned and lubricated the rail and that had no impact. I’ve also adjusted belt tension multiple times.
While working on something else, I removed the head/belt mount from the bearing block. The bearing block itself moves very freely, but I can feel the same binding when moving the belt by hand. What would contribute to binding of the of the belt?
