Works fine; this isn’t an art project! 
The machine has mechanical problems in the X axis:
The right side of the circle begins downward after a movement from the far right side that would have taken up the backlash shown by the mismatch of the ends. Measuring that distance will give you an idea of the backlash you’re looking for.
These mismatches suggest the backlash has some mechanical resistance:
Those circles are drawn counterclockwise around the ring, each with a different starting point, and the longest motion is in the Y direction. The backlash is smaller, suggesting the loose joint isn’t very loose.
Look long and hard at the entire X axis drive train and anything that could let the gantry or laser head wobble side-to-side. Bad screw holes / threads? Loose screws? Malformed roller wheels? The possibilities are endless!
