X axis keeps moving left at startup

I just received my Ortur Laser Master 2 today. I assembled it and connected to my mac with Lightburn software.

As soon as I turn on the laser the X axis moves left and keeps trying to move left even after it hits the left edge. Only way to stop that is to turn machine off. I’ve checked connections and reseated connections. Still same issue. Any ideas?

It’s trying to home.

Yes. It should go to the lower left corner with both x and y moving. Only x moves and does know where to stop. Y axis doesn’t move at all.
