X axis offset on rotary

Greetings. I have a problem with the rotation settings. I use Sculpfun SF-9 in combination with RA MAX Pro. And I have a problem with the X and Y axis offset. It’s about making the engraving slightly smaller than it really should be. For example, the size of the engraving should be 60x40mm, and when it is engraved it is slightly smaller, 57x38mm. I set everything myself according to the instructions I received. What’s the problem? The settings are in the pictures

If you know that your dimensions are 5% under sizes, then simply enlarge your drawing 5.25% to achieved precise sizing. The mind numbing large number of permutations of lasers, base frames and accessories makes it, IMHO, not worth worrying about the small stuff. I make it work.

Am I wrong? I use frame with laser ON to set position and size when using my chuck rotary.

Kind of agree with above, if it’s X AND Y it’s not a problem with the rotary. Y only I would be looking at rotary setup.

Thanks for your help. I increased the x axis by 8% and now it is the correct value. I’ll leave it like this for now. In the meantime, I’ll look for a tweak in lightburn to fix this.

I noticed that your X&Y steps per rotation are different from each other. That’s unusual. Did you change those settings? $100, $101. The majority of diode lasers have both set at 80.

Above it sounded like both X and Y were undersized, but curious why only changing X fixed it? Anyway, although not an expert I agree with Tim above.
